Andrew Flowerday

I believe that archery is a sport that anyone can not only participate in, but be successful at as long as the passion for the sport is there. My “day job” is an engineer, so I especially enjoy the opportunities to research techniques for all the facets of the sport then help archers apply those techniques successfully. I primarily work with JOAD level students, but I also personally coach students that have moved on to Competitive Advantage.

Like many other coaches at Rising Phoenix, I encourage archers to get into competitions as soon as possible. The goal is for archers to experience camaraderie of not only the Rising Phoenix team, but the larger archery community as well. I am a competitive archer myself, so I attend many tournaments locally and regionally.
